Sunday, May 29, 2011 Memorial Day Weekend

Greetings in the wonderful Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Memorial Day weekend is already here. The FPC family will be gathering for morning service only this Sunday. We are expecting a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Please join us in praying in the plan of God.

The ministry teams will be conducting teaching sessions at both D.C. rest home and Gunn Garden Apartments. The sanctuary class will receive the final lesson in the "Beware" series..."Beware lest you fall" (2 Peter 3:17-18).

In the 10:30 service, Sister Janet Johnson is organizing a singspiration celebration and the music ministry will be preparing to lead the FPC family to the throne of God in worship.

I will bring a special message of faith and encouragement form Matthew 12:6..."He's Greater than the place you are in!"

Greetings in Jesus! First Pentecost is in Revival! Recent focused prayer meetings has renewed a fresh anointing in prayer and evangelism.

This coming Sunday, the FPC ministry teams will be teaching & ministering at Gunn Garden apartments and Decatur County manor. I am scheduled to teach and minister in the 9:45 & 11:00 sessions.

The 9:45 session will be lesson 3 of the "Beware" series...

Welcome in Jesus Name! We are excited and anticipating the touch of God on Sunday, May 8. The FPC family will continue its ministry to the Gunn Garden residents, Decatur County Manor residents and to those who join us on campus.

I am scheduled to bring the bring the 2nd "Beware" sanctuary class lesson..."Beware of Covetousness"...

...and then the Mother's Day message in the 11:00 AM service.

Welcome and greetings in Jesus Name! Easter 2011 was a special day of fellowship with God and the family of God. We were delighted to receive our own, Rev. & Mrs. Jason Pearcy in the morning service and then the FPC gathered in the evening to enjoy a tremendous Tennessee river Catfish fry.

Many thanks to Brother Steward, Jeffrey Pearcy and the teams that worked so hard to make the day a success. Blessings!

This coming Sunday the Sanctuary class will begin a "Beware" study series. I will bring the first lesson, "Beware of false prophets, false teachers & evil workers".


Also we are set to receive our dear friend, Rev. Clay Jackson, Memphis, TN. He will be addressing the leadership teams from 8:45 - 9:30 and then minister in the 11:00 morning service.

Blessings and welcome in the Great Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! It is our prayer that you will experience the Presence of God this week.

Yesterday marked the 14 day journey to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This coming Sunday, April 19, we will receive Pastor & First Lady Jeff Dillon, Cornerstone UPC, Winchester, VA. They were such a blessing to the FPC family during the 2010 visit and we are anticipating another great time in the Lord.
