Greetings in Jesus Name!  We are prayerful this post will will find all is well with you and yours.  Sister Burns and I, with the four youngest children, are in Bristol, VA on our way to minister for Rev. & Mrs. Jeff Dillon and the Cornerstone UPC (Winchester, VA) Family.  Services will begin on Wednesday and conclude Sunday evening.

These services have been slated as congregational and leadership development during the week culminating in a mortgage free campaign during the weekend services.  We continue to believe that the Lord Jesus will us to minister under the pastoral wishes of our dear friends.

Back home, Rev. & Mrs. James Pearcy are scheduled to continue the pastoral ministry in our absence.  These folks are also some of our dear friends and we expect the Lord to pour out favor and blessing upon the FPC family during their ministry.

Greetings in Jesus!  This past Sunday, God gave us tremendous blessings through the ministry of Rev. & Mrs. Phillip Miller.  Lasting effects were made and for that we are thankful.

This coming Sunday morning, we will come to the conclusion of the "The Double Portion Anointing" sermon series and our expectation is that a fresh mantle of anointing will descend upon the FPC family.

In the 6:30 PM session, we will receive the ministry of Rev. & Mrs. Preston Procter, Oil City, LA for a great Youth Rally!

Greetings in Jesus! We welcome you to the informational blog of the First Pentecost Church. It is our prayer that your January 2012 will be filled with abundant blessing and favor of God. This past Sunday the PFC sanctuary class continued the character studies series in the life of Cain and Abel. The mornng message "The Journey to a Double Portion Anointing; Bethel" challenged the FPC family to leave Gilgal behind and make the journey to Bethel, the House of God! The FPC family released the evening service in order to grieve the passing the our dear sister Naomi Powers. The FPC family met at the Oakdale funeral home throughout the afternoon and minister comfort and healing to the Powers and Hamm families.

Happy New Year!  I wish you and yours God's very best for 2012.  This post is with apologizes for being so late.  The sanctuary class lesson was the introduction into a series of character studies that will last through February 2012.

The morning message was also the first of a series of messages that will come in January entitled, "The Double Portion Anointing".

The FPC family will consecrate the departmental leadership team in a special 6:00 PM service.  The evening service will a special time of Worship and Stewardship!
